We are stuck at home as we are experiencing yet another snow storm. It is snowy, windy and the temperature will drop quickly to frigid cold and freeze over the roads. At this rate, the kids will probably be going to school until the end of June. The groundhog saw his shadow and this means six more weeks of winter. But life is good!! It is great to live in New England. Our local sports teams have brought us 35 titles. The Patriots won the Super Bowl in in an amazing, dramatic fashion. Terrific Tom has done it again. He was nothing short of spectacular. Tom Brady is not only good looking but he is a sensational football player. I'll be the first to admit that I do not know a lot about football, but I do know that last night's game was truly remarkable. It had fans at the edge of their seats right up until the very end. I loved watching the joy it brought to my husband and boys as we watched that final dramatic play by Malcolm Butler. Unbelievable! What a thriller of a game!
In celebration of the Super Bowl, I am having a sale at my teacher stores. I've been super busy updating my stores so be sure to check them out. I just posted lots of fun flip flap books that are fun and interactive and super easy to put together . My students just love these flip flap books. Be sure to check them out. I can't wait to introduce my new Valentine Book of Love to my class. I've designed it to fit all types of families and it could be used any time of the year. Students simply choose the family members from their own family and write about how much they love and appreciate them.
Here is just a sample page.
Enjoy the Super Bowl Savings. Let me know if you have ever tried flip flap books with your students.
